MATH CLASS!

I always loved math.  It was my favorite!  Who knows, you could be creative this year and use your nails as flash cards!

What was/are your favorite classes during school?

Back to school week:  Wednesday Field Trip!

My favorite field trip during school was always the zoo.  The museum and all those other things were fun, but I always LOVED THE ZOO.

AND.... my favorite animal was always the leopard, hence, the inspiration for this manicure =).

I did a french, fairly simple, but I did a turquoise line and added some leopard print stickers to give it that flair!!

Earth Science

I hadn't had a chance to try out the "Galaxy nails" trend and I figured this would be a great time!

I fell in love when I was done!  I'm sad I'll have to take it off tomorrow to finish up the manicures for this week, but I'll definitely be doing this one again!  This post is a little pic heavy, but I just couldn't help myself.  These look so cool!

*LA Colors:  Black Velvet

*Revlon: Royal 

*Julep: Courteney

*Sally Hansen: Emerald City

*Sally Hansen: Fuchsia Bling Bling 

*NYC: French Tip White

*NYC:  Starry Silver Glitter

*Sally Hansen: Midnight Sky

 

I think it's funny that some of these colors applied to my work at hand!  Have a happy Tuesday =)

 

Back to school week - Monday!

This is my inspiration for this week! Haha :-P

Monday.   These notepaper nails aren't really as hard as you might think they would be.  I'll even give you a mini tutorial.

Colors needed:  White, Black(or gray), Pink(or red), and blue.

*Just paint your nails white, I used two coats NYC: French Tip White.

 *Use a striping brush (or in my case a tooth pick) and make blue stripes across your nail.  How many and how big are totally up to you =)

*Take the red(or pink, your choice.) and make one long red stripe down your nail, closer to one side than the other.

*For a special look I added the whole punch pieces with my black.  (you could use gray for this color.)

And that's it!  Pretty easy but definitely not boring.  Throw your favorite top coat on and head out!
