Candy Corn Nails Tutorial!

This is what I sported on my nails today.  :)

Step #1:  Start with all white nails.

Step#2:  put some of your orange polish on a piece of paper or plastic (I prefer a ziploc baggie), and dip the corner of your sponge into the polish.  (another tip, cosmetic sponges don't work for me, I use a sponge used to wash cars.)

Step#3:  Sponge the orange onto your nails, focusing on the middle.

Step#4:  Repeat steps 2 & 3, using yellow polish.  Focus on the tip.  Make sure to blend well.

Thats it!  Put your top coat on to even everything out.  :)

Pumpkin / Jack-O-Lantern Halloween nail art tutorial

I decided to do some Halloween tutorials for you guys this week!  This one is pretty easy :)

Products used: NYC: French Tip White, WNW: Sunny Side Up, Sally Hansen: Emerald City, LA COLORS: Black Velvet.  And Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat.

Step #1:  Put your base coat on.  Let dry.

Step #2: Paint all your nails white.  Let dry.

Step #3:  Paint the orange on top of the white. Let dry.

Step #4:  Using a dotting tool (this is what I used, you could use a nail art brush, bobby pin, etc.), make an eye on your soon to be pumpkin.

Step #5:  Make the rest of your pumpkins face.  Choose any design you want, it's your pumpkin!

Step #6:  Using your green, make a little top to the pumpkin.  Add a stem too :)

Thats it!  Put your topcoat on to make everything nice and even.!  Try it and let me see pictures!  :)

Review: L.A. Colors SuperStrength Nail Builder

I had this on my nails for 5 days.  It is recommended to use this for two weeks but, ain't nobody got time for dat.  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=udS-OcNtSWo&feature=youtube_gdata_player

Ok ok, if you haven't seen that video yet... Seriously click that ^, it's hilarious.

Anyways, I have to say that it really wasn't a bad product.  My middle and pointer fingers at the moment are so horribly thin and prone to peeling.  This product kind of glued it together and is giving it a chance to grow out and prevent further splitting.

So even though you will see that those two fingers are shorter now, I really do feel like this product did help.

First picture is day 5.

Second picture is day 1.

Have any of you tried this product?

Comparison Post - Sinful Colors: Gorgeous vs. Wet n Wild: Caribbean Frost.

Both of these polishes are great colors, and they look very similar.  On my nails you can definitely tell a difference though.

Which one is YOUR favorite?

Green and Gold: Fall Manicure

Here is a suggestion from a reader!

Hunter green and gold was her suggestion.

For this manicure I used three coats Sally Hansen: Emerald City, and did a gradient tip with Zoya: Tanzy.

(Tanzy is actually an orange, but it shows up gold!)

If any of you have suggestions/requests I would love to do them!

Zoya Adina - Purple To Green Color Shifting Polish

First of all wow.  This polish is just incredible.

Maybe I'm just so amazed because this is my first polish that has a "candy paint" effect.

Pointer has one coat black, two coats Adina.

Middle has one coat black, one coat Adina.

Ring has one coat white, two coats Adina.

Pinky has one coat white, and one coat Adina.

Thumb is 2 coats on it's own!

Enjoy :D

Sinful Colors: I Miss You

Talk about a gorgeous glitter!

This is two coats on the ring finger.
A pretty purple jelly polish.  The only problem I had was really being able to thoroughly mix this!

Enjoy!  As usual, any questions or comments feel free to leave.
