Nutra-nail UV free "gel" polish.

I would like to start off by saying that I hate giving a negative review.  BUT... I don't want you to spend $14 or so on this garbage.

The instructions were simple, you do have to like....switch brushes and stuff after 5 nails, which seemed like a little hassle.  I only did my thumbnail, since I had already seen a negative review on this.

NOTE:  on this box there was no "lasts up to (x) days!" For good reason.

I wasn't able to give you a sunlight picture of my nail because by the time I had gotten ready in the morning, it had chipped. -.-  I had only done the nail the night before!

Removal: yucky.  Goopy.  Blegh.  I used pure acetone and let it soak.  Even then I still had to do a lot of scrubbing.

All in all, don't waste your money.  Use regular polish and Seche Vite and you'll fare much better!

Have any of you used this product?

Sally Hansen - Insta-Dri Nail Color: Lively Lilac!

This is definitely one of my FAVORITE polishes.  One coat honestly does it.  I use two of course, just to make it really solid.

The brush is an awesome rounded thick tip, so there is really no cleanup needed!

They run around $4-$5 a piece, but they go a long way!  I definitely recommend this product.

How many of you use this type of polish?

Kunimitsu Nail Potions - Saving Townsville

Sugar, Spice, and everything Nice!

I won this polish and decided to do a review.  Shown with three coats over Zoya:Pippa.

Application was good.  Not goopy but not thin.  I did have to fish a bit for the colored glitters, but I feel that it was worth it.  I definitely recommend them!  Look them up on facebook!

Fall Manicure - Zoya Kristi, Zoya Tanzy, and Essie Skirting The Issue!

Decided I would do an easy fall manicure for this weekend.  I did two coats of Kristi, one coat of the Essie, and one coat of Tanzy.  I think it turned out nice!  It's been so gloomy so I'm sorry the pictures aren't better!

Julep Matte Suede Finish: Amber

I am currently a Julep Maven (go to julep.com to join!  Use the code PENNYINTRO so your first month costs you just a penny!}

In my box this month I got Amber and Nora.

Amber is a brownish beige that has alot of shimmer in it.

The application was pretty good.  Not runny and it dried quickly.  Which is good, I was nervous about not having my Seche Vite!

Let me know what you think!  Nora is coming tomorrow :)

Saran Wrap Nails

One of my readers suggested I do saran wrap nails!  I for one was excited because I had never tried it before.

Uhh...tip:  Dont use like...a ziploc bag.  It just looks weird.

Moving on!  I remember seeing somewhere how to do these.  Here's how I did mine.

1. Prepped by cutting (ok ok...tearing with my fingers.) 10 small pieces of cling wrap.

2. Prepped my nails with acetone, and painted my darker color in a nice smooth even layer.  I used Sally Hansen "Fuschia Bling Bling."

3.  Wait for them to be COMPLETELY dry.  I was lazy and didn't feel like waiting so I used a later of Seche Vite to speed things up.

4. (Doing this one nail at a time.)Paint your nail with your lighter color(I used Sinful Colors "Moss Have"), and immediately "sponge" one of your ten prepped pieces of plastic wrap over it until it looks...well whatever you want it to look like :).

Top coat it and voila!  I hope you liked :)
